A Path of Meaning & Purpose After Retirement

A Path Of Meaning and Purpose After Retirement

Tuesdays, Mar. 12 - Apr. 2, 10:00 - 11:30AM

For many of us, our sense of identity hinges on what we do (or did) to make a living…teacher, mail carrier, doctor, homemaker, truck driver. Even post-retirement, when asked to share something about ourselves, our answer often leads with our former occupation.

Nearing or at retirement, the question may come to mind, “Who am I now?” This four-session workshop guides you on an adventure of self-exploration through various activities and small group sharing. Rediscover submerged talents, passions, missions you had forgotten or just didn’t have time for in the work world.

Your guide is Ella Roush, a Generations board member who has co-facilitated our Longest Night and Spirit Journeys programs for many years. Ella revels in real conversations with others, sharing joys and sorrows, hopes and dreams.

This is a free program. Space is limited. To register, please stop by our front desk or call 215-723-5841.

“Aging is not ‘lost youth’ but a new stage of opportunity and strength.”
